A walk from Carrer Major to the lighthouse

Out the door, past the bakery, along the seafront and up to the headland. Forty minutes if you don't stop. Nobody doesn't stop.

A walk from Carrer Major to the lighthouse

This entry is a review from some guests who left us their favourite walk in the house book. We're republishing it here, with their permission, because it tells the village better than we could.

“Out the door at number 13, Carrer Major, turn toward the sea, and let yourself be carried along. The bakery opens early; it's worth a coffee and an ensaïmada before anything else. Then straight ahead to the seafront.”

After the walk, the cool stone of the house is the end of the route.

“The promenade follows the sand until the beach ends and the rocks begin. Climb the headland path, the sea on your left the whole way, up to the lighthouse. Forty minutes if you don't stop — but there's too much to look at, and nobody doesn't stop.”

“Coming back, the stone house waits cool, even in January. A glass of Priorat wine at the long table and the day is complete.”

Thank you for the walk. If you like, we also keep trails and beaches by season on the area page.
